Credits, quality tiers, and how to estimate your monthly usage.
What is a credit?+
Credits are the simple unit used to measure video generation usage. Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and each generation consumes credits based on the video type and duration.
How many credits does a video cost?+
Video generation is billed by seconds, and anything under 1 second is rounded up and billed as 1 second. Standard video costs 6 credits per second, and Pro video costs 9 credits per second. For example, a 10-second Standard clip uses 60 credits; a 10-second Pro clip uses 90 credits.
What’s the difference between Standard and Pro?+
Standard is 720p and optimized for fast iteration and frequent posting. Pro is 1080p and designed for higher-fidelity results when you need extra polish for key uploads, paid social, or client deliverables. If you’re not sure, start with Standard to test concepts, then switch specific clips to Pro once the hook and pacing are proven.
How do I estimate how many credits I need?+
Multiply your target clip length by the credits-per-second rate, then multiply by how many videos you publish per month. If you post daily, many creators start with shorter clips for testing and reserve longer or Pro clips for the best-performing ideas.
Do credits reset each month?+
Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance that refreshes on your billing cycle. If you’re producing at a higher volume, upgrading to a larger plan is usually the simplest way to keep your pipeline moving.
Can I upgrade later?+
Yes. Many users begin with a smaller plan to validate their workflow and then upgrade once they’ve found a repeatable style that’s worth scaling. Your goal should be consistent output, not one-off experiments.
